ASSITEJ MONGOLIA
About us
Bringing Joy and Creativity to All
ASSITEJ Mongolia is the national centre of ASSITEJ International—the global network dedicated to theatre for children and young audiences. Mongolia officially joined ASSITEJ International in 2021, marking a new chapter for the country’s long-standing children’s theatre tradition.
While Mongolia has a rich history of theatre for young audiences—through institutions such as the Children and Youth Theatre and the Puppet Theatre—becoming part of this unified international network has opened new pathways. It enables Mongolian artists to connect globally, share their voices, and contribute to international conversations on children’s culture and creativity.

Our Mission
ASSITEJ Mongolia champions theatre as a vital cultural right for every child.
We work to ensure that children across Mongolia—both urban and rural—can access high-quality, meaningful, and joyful theatrical experiences.
